Temperature Tongs!

Tired of grilling and overcooking your steaks, burgers, and pork chops?
Wish you had a meat thermometer and a pair of tongs to get the job done?

Well you're in luck!

Knowing if the meat products you are grilling are cooked to your liking involves some skill and a bit of guesswork.
Yes, your filet of steak may appear to be browned, but is it done throughout?

What Are Temperature Tongs?
Temperature Tongs helps you get the job done by combining two of the most basic tools used in barbecuing: meat tongs and a digital food thermometer. The thermometer assists you by measuring the meat's doneness while being grilled.

How Do Temperature Tongs Work?
First, simply selecting the type of meat product you are cooking. Temperature Tongs will digitally read the appropriate internal temperature of the food product selected. Second, select the type of doneness: Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well, or Well. Once selected, the thermometer will read the correct temperature of your selected doneness. Finally, press the red button on your Temperature Tongs to determine your cut of meat's internal temperature. When the correct temperature is achieved, you are ready to eat! It's as simple as that!

Idea Generation: Temperature Tongs targets vendors who are interested in selling my product in their stores; this includes any barbeque/ grilling businesses and stores that sell kitchen appliances. This also includes any competitors who may attempt to copy my idea. Also included are consumers who need assistance when grilling or cooking meat products in general.
Idea Screening: I would run tests for the public to try my product. This would determine if my idea is a hit or a miss with positive or negative feedback.
Business Analysis: After the tests above have been done, I will determine the price of my product by doing some research and seeing what consumers are willing to pay. I will also configure the profit my product will be accumulating.
Development: Different designs the Temperature Tongs will be drawn up. Some different designs may include different shapes of the tongs, different designs of the thermometer, and different colors and sizes for each.
Test Marketing: Temperature Tongs will be tested in a variety of different areas including safety, sanitation, effectiveness, and how well the thermometer works.
Commercialization: I will advertise online, through posters and flyers, at food shows and events, and possibly on television in the future.
